Here are some fun ideas I came up with to stay sane while inside for the next few weeks. All of these things are fun that you can do with any age group, so be sure to include your whole family! To keep things really interesting, I suggest picking an activity from two or three categories per day. If you are homeschooling you can even stagger the activity in between your learning periods, as free time.

For example: Start your day with journaling. Move into quiet reading and perhaps flashcards or something else educational. Then your family can do your first fun activity! Have lunch together and talk about the things you have done so far. Then transition into whatever work was provided by the school. If none was provided, search online because many sites are offering free resources at this time. Lastly, end your day with another fun activity.

Stay tuned because I will be coming back to share what things we are enjoying most and what types of family challenges we are doing!

Things you should be cleaning and changing but you probably don't.

1. Water filters.

2. Sponges and cleaning gloves.

3. Door handles, light switches, remotes, drawer handles, cell phones, and other buttons.

4. Trash cans.

5. Your cleaning supplies like mop handles, vacuum handles, etc.

6. Windows and their sills.

7. Air filters, vents, and baseboards.

8. Bedding like pillows, mattress protectors, etc.

9. Inside and under appliances such as your washing machine, dryer, garbage disposal, dishwasher, etc.

10. And of course, ceiling fixtures.
