Hey! Here is a super easy DIY portable heating pad that you can make in your free time.
Enjoy.
Materials:
Sewing needle and thread
Fabric (amount is dependent upon how big or small you plan to make it.)
Scissors
Marker
Funnel
Rice (or beans)
Optional essential oils to make the heating pad smell nice

Directions:
Cut fabric to desired length
**Remember your desired fabric should be on the inside at this point because you will later flip the pad inside out.
Use marker and draw along edges of where you plan to sew the pieces of fabric together.
Begin sewing fabric together and leave out an opening where you can insert funnel and rice.
Once your sewing is complete, you can now flip your pad inside out. This will now reveal your desired pattern on the outside.
**For my pad, the white fabric is my desired pattern and the dark fabric is the reinforcement pattern.
Use funnel to fill up the heating pad with rice and oils.
Sew up the opening that was previously left unclosed for the insertion of rice.
Ensure every side is closed and strong.
To Use Heating Pad:
Heat in microwave until hot.
**Time depends on size of the heating pad and wattage of your microwave.

Other Uses:
Sensory play with your little one
As a weight in your homeschool lesson
Door prop
Fidget bag
Corn hole
